Close to 40 years ago, an over-speed safety relay from Auto-Maskin was installed in this great sailing ship. It has been performing faithfully through all these decades, but at last, it gave in and Auto-Maskin was contacted for a replacement. The SDU 404 Safety Unit was a perfect choice and was installed on short notice so that the great ship could continue its service as a training ship for aspiring sailors.
We are proud to be involved in protecting D/S Hestmanden, a steamship from 1911 that has been made into the sailing Norwegian War Sailor Museum.
