Wanting more information from the engine, the owner of the fishing vessel “STORMHAV” acquired the Auto-Maskin ProConnect with an additional RP 480i Remote Panel with a 12″ touchscreen panel and installed it himself.
Just before the summer holiday, Auto-Maskin got a request from a shipyard for an easy “Plug and Play” control panel for one of their customer’s Cummins Engine. The obvious choice was our ProConnect solution which consists of an engine harness and a control panel. In addition to the ProConnect kit the customer also wanted a large display in the wheelhouse, the most apparent choice was the RP 480i Remote Panel.
After the installation, our sales team contacted the vessel and asked the operator to share his experience with Auto-Maskin and the ProConnect kit. His immediate response was: – Even though I’m not an engineer, I was able to do the installation myself thanks to the superb support from the Auto-Maskin customer service. This made my experience very good!
