Description
The S-BC Broadcast SMS/email Alarming system, in conjunction with Marine Watch S Series alarm system, is designed to transmit vital alarm or event information via SMS text messages and email notifications of operator selected critical alarms or events to several phone numbers and email addresses.
Of the total channels monitored by the Marine Watch, the operator can select which monitored channels to be transmitted to the preprogrammed email and phone numbers.
When the Marine Watch system detects an event, the alarm is sent via ethernet to the S-BC. The message is securely sent from the installed antenna to the associated cellular network.
S-BC supports most European SIM cards, and in the US, it supports SIM cards from either AT&T or Verizon cellular carriers.
The alarm is transmitted as an SMS text message, with the actual event description in the text, and additionally and optionally sent to several email addresses configured into the system.
