The RP 410 is a 8.4″ colour touchscreen panel with a high resolution screen. The RP 410E can monitor and control up to eight DCU engine controllers in the Auto-Maskin 200 or 400 Series. The RP 410E is a direct replacement for the existing RP 410. It has a improved 8.4″ colour touchscreen panel and a significantly faster processor for instant response and clarity. It is suitable for console mount, an improvement being that it is now IP56 rated when mounted, and of course, retains several IACS Society Approvals.

With simple, easy to use “touchscreen” functionality, the information and controls are displayed graphically and with icons for navigation. Highly effective for use in direct sunlight, but also equipped with auto dimming and a night mode, the RP 410E can be installed anywhere in the vessel. The unit connects to the DCU modules via a simple Ethernet connection, or via Ethernet switches if multiple panels are required.
The RP 410E is approved by many Classification Societies [ see our website for current qualifications], including supporting all requirements for Master Panel, Active Station and remote alarm suppression.
The RP 410E requires no on-site configuration. Once connected to the DCU, it automatically configures itself. With a wide selection of languages installed as standard, with easy “on the fly” changes, operation is safer and clearer to the operators. The Owner can select from several different templates to provide the preferred panel layout, and uploading and downloading of files (including wallpapers) and information can take place using the USB connection.
By using the password protected areas, certain parameters of the panel can be adjusted locally if required. Additionally, by DCU’s reading the engine J1939 CAN bus available on most electronic engines today, the RP 410E will show fault codes, not only as a numeral, but as a plain text description of the event / alarm, providing a clear indication to allow operators to take the appropriate actions. Multiple engines can be displayed on a single panel (1 – 8 limit), and up to four engines on a single page.
The RP 410E can also support up to four IP-cameras, either to monitor engine spaces or provide security coverage, all without a dedicated CCTV system, saving substantially the cost of dedicated equipment and its upkeep.
