Foss Marine, Hawaii, Selects Auto-Maskin’s Marine Watch as new vessel alarm System.
The M/V “Eleu” is a port of Honolulu workhorse, moving commercial vessels in and out of the island of Oahu’s seaport, and supporting US Navy ships movement into and out of Pearl Harbor. Eleu ’s critical alarm system had become outdated and unsupported.
James Ding, Hawaii’s Port Engineer, said: “The current system had to be replaced fast and efficiently with little downtime due to the vessels schedule”. James selected AM’s Marine Watch as Eleu’s new alarm system replacement due to its simple installation and intuitive operator set up. James also said, “This system from Auto-Maskin allows the crew to accomplish the system installation without adding the additional cost of commissioning from an outside vendor. Huge cost savings while at the same time adding a state-of-the-art alarm system to the vessel. After reviewing Auto-Maskin’s Marine Watch system, it was an easy choice.
