Auto-Maskin participated in the commissioning of the new OPV for the Honduras Navy, manufactured by Israel Shipyards in Haifa, Israel.

Engineers from Caterpillar, Twin Disc, Kobelt, Servowatch and Auto-Maskin, worked together for the final test and the Sea Trial.

The crew for the vessel had been training in Haifa for three months and was, of course, attending the Sea Trial.

Our scope of work was commissioning the control cabinets for the four main engines, including remote panels in the engine control room and the bridge. We also had the gear control and the distribution of various signals from the engine ECM to the vessel management system.

As always on commissioning, some faults and issues were resolved two days before the Sea Trial. Great to see how engineers from different companies work together as one strong team to make everything complete, disregarding who was responsible for the faults.

The Sea Trial went by without incidents, and the vessel was ready to be handed over to the customer.
