Engine control with PMS
The Marine Pro 200 Series and 400 Series control systems are about to become even more powerful with integration to the Auto-Maskin LSU 408 Load Sharing Unit. The LSU 408 includes load sharing, synchronizing, generator protection, and integrated PMS.
Hordafor chooses Marine Watch
The Bergen-based aquaculture company Hordafor with their vessel “Hordafor VI” has recently been through an upgrade which also includes retro-fitting a new Alarm Management System. “Hordafor VI” is an ensilage carrier and operates on a strict schedule. With factors such as predictability, safety and ease, they chose Marine Watch from Auto-Maskin AS Norway.

Cost-savings is getting more and more important in today's marine market. With the NEW PLC-functionality added to the Marine Pro-series engine controllers, this is now easier than ever. The new feature allows for creating integrated automation logic, in a quick and easy way.
PLUG and GO Engine Control
Just plug one end of the harness into the ECM and the other end into the DCU 210E Engine Controller. Add 12 or 24V power to the labeled leads, upload the engine configuration and you're finished. Simple! That’s how easy it is to connect a DCU 210E Engine Controller to a Cummins X15 engine.
Covid-19 paving the way for remote assistance
Auto-Maskin successfully performed a remote product certification process together with Turk Loydu of the engine control system for high-performance vessels being built in Turkey.

Very smooth commissioning in Paraguay
Just before the world shut down, an Auto-Maskin engineer from Texas travelled to Paraguay to commission 2 engine control cabinets on the cargo vessel "Madeleine I" in Paraguay.

IACS Certifications Renewed by ABS
Recently, ABS (American Bureau of Shipping) have renewed the hardware and software certifications of Marine Pro products under the IACS standards. The design and the manufacturing processes at Auto-Maskin have undergone vigorous appraisals by IACS members across the globe, and the Marine Pro systems have full Type Approvals from the leading Classification Societies.
Big on Control Cabinets
Did you know that Auto-Maskin is a high-volume provider of control cabinets to the marine industry? This year, Auto-Maskin will manufacture close to 2000 control cabinets for several marine applications. The control cabinets range from space-effective systems for small diesel gen-sets to bigger cabinets that include automation for a number of vessel systems.

Pretty Sophisticated Functionality
We recently serviced an Auto-Maskin control unit for emergency power, that was developed in the year 1979. This, for its time pretty sophisticated, 40-year old vintage control unit was simply named the “79239”. We are in it for the long-run!

Auto-Maskin LLC Goes to the Panama Canal
Two new engine control systems for the Yanmar 6EY17W engine were installed as part of an engine replacement and upgrade in an overhaul of the M/V "DON ADRES" in Colon, Panama. The systems were designed and built by Auto-Maskin LLC partnering with Yanmar USA and JTC Pacifico, Panama.

Over the years, Auto-Maskin has provided control and monitoring solutions to a variety of unusual installations, but we think this is the first time we have had a Jet engine under our care! Auto-Maskin supplies controllers to a gas turbine powered Genset well suited for superyachts.
Quality Assured Repairs
Increasing populations and continued growth of the number of global installations has led to a new initiative by Auto-Maskin. To reduce the response time, the complexity of transactions, and to increase customer satisfaction relating to repairs of Auto-Maskin equipment outside of warranty, most contracted distributors have been qualified to perform certain repairs on the 400 and 300 series products.
