The SDU 420 is equipped with local fault and channel status indications, local acknowledge, reset and overspeed test mode required by classification society rules during local survey and commissioning.

Designed to be used with either the 200 Series or the 400 Series DCUs, this unit is automatically configured from the DCU, just requiring a twisted pair “SDU Link” between each component. “Plug and play” installation provides valuable cost and resource reductions with no programming and no configuring.
