The S-ONE Alarm Panel has an easy to use operator interface displaying instant recognition of vessel status in the highly effective and attractive alarm management system Marine Watch S Series.
The system architecture is scalable and can be used in small to medium-sized installations in configurations of up to several hundred channels.
Bringing alarm channels from multiple processes and multiple alarm panels into Marine Watch reduces risk. A home page with an overview of all alarm pages and active alarms and widgets for additonal functions gives the operator a clear view of vessel status and quick access to detailed information.
Optional analogue channels with configurable warning and alarm limits can be displayed as gauges or bargraphs with trending and sparklines. Connecting the channels for rudder angle enables the display of rudder angle and a widget for it on the home page.
Optional display of engine channels from up to two propulsion engines and up to two gensets requires either Engine Cabinets or existing Marine Pro systems. The page automatically adapts to the configured engine setup.
Optional digital output channels are controlled from a page where output channels can be configured to be toggled or momentary.
The alarm systems also provides an unattended engine room function with watch transfer and a dead man alarm for the engine room for enhanced safety.
Multiple alarm panels may be installed to allow monitoring and response from additional locations on board.
The 12.1″ colour touchscreen is a marine-grade high-resolution panel. The configuration is built right into the touch screen panel and access is protected with a PIN-code. No tools are required to create, adjust or modify alarms. Each channel can be configured with a button-text description up to three lines, delay time, inverted channel, etc.
Additionally, the use of channel groups makes it possible, by simple means – to group channels that naturally belong together.
A built-in buzzer will sound in the event of an alarm, and the corresponding rectangle or gauge flashes in red. The alarm is then acknowledged by pressing the flashing rectangle or gauge.
Fixed output channels provide indications for remote lights and buzzers for common alarm annunciation.
The I/O modules are in separate cabinets and communicate to the alarm panel(s) on a standard Ethernet cable. Each S Series I/O cabinets can be supplied in I/O capacities ranging from 60 up to 120 switch input channels. 1 to 4 S Series I/O Cabinets can be connected to each alarm system. Up to 16 analogue input channels and up to 16 digital output channels can be added to each cabinet.
S-ONE is compatible with the Marine Broadcast, a cloud-based service giving users on any remote device running a standard web browser access to the alarm list of the connected vessel and enables the use of instant SMS and email alerts.
