Auto-Maskin has clients worldwide, and has established long-lasting relationships on all continents, supplying engine controls and monitoring units in all types of vessels on the seven seas. But the big oceans are not the only maritime market. The inland waterways of Europe, with all its rivers and channels, exceed 37,000 km, providing a way of life, communication and business throughout.

These waterways are connecting the inner cities of Europe; Düsseldorf, Bratislava, Belgrade, Vienna, Strasbourg, to mention a few, providing these cities with access to the North-Sea, The Atlantic Ocean, The Mediterranean Sea, and The Black Sea. No wonder this business has its own exhibition; the inland waterway exhibition: “Shipping-Technics-Logistics” in Wunderland Kalkar, just next to the river Rhein.

We were present, showcasing our new vessel alarm system, the Marine Watch, and our Marine Pro engine management series. We established new contacts with both inland skippers and other new business opportunities.

As always we had a competition going; The Alarm Race. Who can acknowledge alarms on a Marine Watch alarm panel the quickest? More than a hundred visitors competed to win a fancy smartwatch, and our next door neighbours at the exhibition finally won: We congratulate Mr. Kötter from Kötter Werft in Haren, Germany.
