The 200 Classic series of engine control system units was released in 2013 for recreational and unclassed vessels and was quickly picked up by the market. But with the rapid pace of technology development, the 200 Classic is now entering retirement for good, and new units and repairs will no longer be available.

Our service team will still support the 200 Classic products with troubleshooting and user guidance.

Luckily there’s a new sheriff in town with the 200E units, which entirely replaces the Classic series both for new units and spare parts. The 200E units can fit into any vessel interior with its sleek all-glass front, touch display, and touch buttons. Combined with the ultra-quick processor and intuitive graphics it adds real value to the operator. Another feature introduced with the 200E units is the flexible I/O concept. Instead of I/O that is dedicated to only one particular signal type, each individual I/O on the 200E unit can be configured to a variety of signals types. It makes the 200E units much more versatile and greatly eases the engineering process.

The self-configurable concept is of course maintained in the 200E units where the 200E remote panel simply plugs in and works with no programming what so ever! You might ask your self how that is possible. Well, with the Auto-Maskin self-configurable concept you can truly connect remote panels, visualise all parameters and have full alarm list functionality with just a click of a button. It has proven to be a huge cost saver for ship owners because potential changes in sensors are automatically reflected on the remote panels and effectively void the need for costly service engineers to come aboard.

We even made replacing a 200 Classic unit with a 200E unit very easy by introducing the Harness Conversion Kit DCU 200E Series.
