Repower of a pushboat leads to advanced monitoring. The Dutch pushboat, MS Statum, was recently repowered with Yanmar machinery.
Part of the work involved installing new wiring and panels to complement the new engines. Johan Bartendrecht of Barendrecht Trading B.V. in Holland, the Auto-Maskin distributor for Benelux was on hand.

Repowers can sometimes be challenging in terms of access and cable runs, but with the simple Ethernet connection of the remote panel RP 210E, and the ease of connection of the DCU 210E installed in a cabinet in the engine room, this installation ran very smoothly”
