Korean vessel with RP 480i Remote Panel

The new RP 480i Remote Panel was recently commissioned in a high-speed vessel set for South Korea, monitoring and controlling four drivelines with amazing power output. The commissioning took place at the Incat shipyard in Tasmania, Hobart, an island south of Melbourne in Australia. This quiet island with historical districts, narrow lanes, and colonial-era cottages is the backdrop for this wicked high-speed ferry build.

Avoid crankcase explosions

Systems for oil mist detection are complex and often have information displayed decentralized from the engine control system position. The Marine Pro DCUs solve this with full integration to the Kidde oil mist detection system. All critical data for operation and maintenance are displayed on the DCU central engine operator display.
