Marine Pro - The Next Generation

RP_410.jpg
The new remote panel for the Marine Pro system
The Marine Pro range of diesel and vessel supervision equipment is designed to protect your investments not just now but into the future.  Innovative design and function, with the ability to communicate with multiple data networks, prepared already to accommodate future needs such as exhaust aftertreatment system supervision and control.
Equally adept at simple stand alone solutions, or as a complex networked system on the vessel or stretching ashore, the marine pro range of modules means next generation advantages here now. Self configuring, password protected, multiple languages, and simple user interfaces means that crews need no special expertise, no special training, and Marine Pro provides the maximum level of protection, accountability  and information demanded by today’s Owners worldwide.

Flexible

Marine Pro is not just an engine supervision system. It has a flexibility and functionality vessel wide that is simple yet effective. The same building blocks of the system can be applied in multiple applications, meaning a common approach to vessel alarm integration, vessel operation, crew training and familiarization, service training and information reporting. Whether the vessel requires multiple panels in multiple locations, simple local readouts in a local language, or the same system to oversee all engines, plus hotel services and ships systems such as bilge alarms, tank levels etc, the marine pro is configured simply and easily without special tools or software.

Modular

By using a common communication protocol, linked by simple two-wire connections or a standard Ethernet cable / port, the elements of the marine pro system simply plug together. The simple building block approach allows selection of functionality to suit the requirements at minimal cost, but maximum effectiveness. Modules vary from the basic core module of the diesel control Unit to interfaces to AC generators, dedicated shutdown protection units, remote panels, non engine ships systems, and remote telemetry. Each module is configured automatically or individually using just a laptop and a web browser.

Expandable

The Marine Pro system is capable of growing to meet a range of needs.  By using the modules available, the total system can be tailored to suit.  Expandable and selectable, the specifier can use the same set of components to meet many requirements.  Expandability does not just mean hardware.  The ability to remote monitor the equipment connected to the marine pro system now just depends upon the vessels ability to communicate to the internet.  From a simple email should a certain alarm / function occur, to the ability to record a full set of data over extended periods is not only possible but in action today.

Self configuring

Marine Pro is uncomplicated and designed for use by non experts, both during commissioning and whilst operating. A simple “start wizard” allows the base DCU 410 unit to configure itself to the local requirement or any dedicated configuration that an Owner can develop with the Auto-Maskin engineering team prior to or during installation. Any other module then communicating with the base unit then automatically configures itself to that requirement.  No user interaction required. No special tools. No unique software. If required, using password protected areas, a user can re configure some elements of the units using simple drop down boxes in your standard web browser. Each module has its own web server built in and can be used independently.

DCU 410 – Engine Monitoring and Control

The base unit for the Marine pro system. Stand alone it is a complete engine monitoring and supervision module with color display and controls. Able to read an engine ECM, measure inputs from analogue sensors and monitor activity, it also acts as the communication hub for other modules of the marine pro system. Classification Society approved.

DCU 408 – Engine Control

Used when no local control or monitoring of an engine is required, but the information from the engine sub systems needs to be taken and displayed remotely to the engine. A DCU 410 without a user interface. Can be mounted internally in an enclosure. Performs same communication function as the DCU 410, allowing all modules of the Marine Pro system to be connected.

RP 410 – Remote Panel

An 8.4” transflective colour touchscreen remote panel, ideal for daylight viewing, but also with auto dimming and a night mode. Used for remote indication of up to 8 DCU’s. There are no limits as to how many of these panels can be used at any one time. Can be configured with up to 20 different screen configurations as standard, in metric and US units, and 10 languages. Automatically installed by the DCU.

SDU 410 – Safety Unit

Provides the Classification Society requirements for shutdown, alarm, wire break, and short circuit fault conditions up to and including full Unmanned Machinery space (UMS). Used with the DCU modules where it will be automatically installed, or as a stand alone unit. Local fault indicator lamps assist in troubleshooting. 35mm DIN Rail mounting.

RIO 410 – Expansion I/O

Expansion board to increase the capability of the DCU’s. Contains 24 configurable analogue or digital input / outputs. Each DCU is configured capable  of to supporting up to  four4 RIO 410 expansion modules. 35mm DIN rail mounted. Classification Society approved and automatically installed detected by the DCU.

DCU 410 Diesel Engine Controller

The DCU 410 is the basic Supervision unit complete with a local user interface. Using a 5.7" colour screen and an IP55 front plate with integrated buttons, the unit is approved by all major Classification Societies.

DCU 408 Engine Controller

The DCU 408 is the base Supervision unit without a local user interface. Display and control outputs can be connected to RP 410 panels or a video interface module. Classification Society Approved.

RP 410 Remote Panel

The RP 410 is a 8.4" colour touchscreen panel in full VGA resolution. Suitable for consul mount and Classification Society Approved, it can control up to eight engine panels in style.

SDU 410 Shutdown Unit

A Shutdown unit designed to meet Classification Society requirements, either within the Marine pro system or independently.

RIO 410 Expansion Module

The RIO 410 digital and analogue expansion module is designed for use within the Marine pro system.

RIO 425 AC Generator Interface

Dedicated interface module to allow display of AC Generator parameters on the engine control unit DCU 410, and remote panel RP 410.
